Als zij denken dat een onderneming (beter dan de concurrenten) handelt en communiceert in overeenstemming met hun behoeften, interesses en waarden, dan zullen ze die positief waarnemen, hierbij een gunstige houding hebben, en positieve meningen en aanbevelingen uitbrengen. Hoe meer de onderneming na verloop van tijd aan hun verwachtingen zal voldoen, des te steviger zal deze reputatie zich in hun denken verankeren, en hierdoor een <em>vangnet<\/em> cre\u00ebren dat de onderneming in staat zal stellen beter bestand te zijn tegen crisissituaties.<\/p>\n<p>Reputatie is voor een onderneming een immaterieel actief. Dit actief vertegenwoordigt haar vorige acties en beschrijft haar vermogen om aan de verwachtingen van haar stakeholders te voldoen (bijvoorbeeld op ethisch en sociaal niveau, met betrekking tot de kwaliteit van haar producten en diensten), terwijl dit de onderneming toestaat zich te onderscheiden en zichzelf te beschermen tegen concurrentie.<\/p>\n<p>In een context waarin bedrijven aandeelhouders, die hun <em>return on investment<\/em> centraal stellen, moeten tevredenstellen, speelt de reputatie ook een primordiale rol wegens haar bewezen financi\u00eble impact. Al vormt ze een immaterieel actief dat niet in de balans te boeken valt, ze be\u00efnvloedt de koers van het aandeel. Een goede reputatie lokt bovendien beleggers, nieuwe klanten en talenten, terwijl bestaande klanten trouw blijven, het personeelsbehoud stijgt, de verkoop toeneemt. Een goede reputatie maakt zelfs hogere prijzen voor producten en diensten aanvaardbaar, en is een troef om partnerships, fusies en acquisities af te ronden.<\/p>\n<p>Deze voordelen die voortvloeien uit een reputatie, worden des te evidenter naarmate ze stevig gevestigd is. Ondernemingen zijn het aan zichzelf verplicht om de performance van hun reputatie geregeld te checken. Er zijn meerdere methodes om deze oefening uit te voeren. E\u00e9n ervan \u2013 die wordt gebruikt voor de jaarlijkse reputatierangschikking van de 100 meest zichtbare ondernemingen \u2013 steunt op zeven eigenschappen: vertrouwen, bedrijfscultuur, ethiek, burgerschap, visie, groei, producten en diensten. In deze context speelt communicatie een essenti\u00eble rol.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column
